October Update

Hello Internet!

I am back again with a new monthly update. As has been the case for the last few months I did not make any direct progress to this project. However I have made progress towards learning Unreal engine for changing the game engine. I was able to complete a full Unreal game development course (created by GameDev.tv). After finishing the course, I am feeling like I'm about 40-50% of the way to an acceptable level of knowledge and confidence with the engine to begin porting the project. I have begun another Unreal course that seems to cover more intermediate topics.

I have updated the Google Drive with the new projects I created (the link is https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1v8V7wrdJgUj9TnbPwMrQ8h9YzW2fEDMz?usp=sha...). Unlike the previous upload these sample projects are not standalone games and require to be opened and ran within the Unreal Engine 4 editor. Some of the topics that weren't really covered in the course were topics regarding building the games as stand alone (menus, exit function, etc..).

My "day job" workload has reduced some but is still higher than in years past. But I am hopeful to have a bit more time to devote to gamedev.

My biggest thanks go out to anyone who takes the time to check out my game and this update. Truely, I Thank You.
Until Next Time.
