November Update


Hello Internet!

Wow, this month seemed to fly by so fast. This month I completed another course on learning the Unreal Engine. Things really started clicking for me in this course. The latest project called AdventureGame.7z (this time a packaged build) has been added to the Google drive https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1v8V7wrdJgUj9TnbPwMrQ8h9YzW2fEDMz?usp=sha.. I also uploaded the source code for this project to https://github.com/Stormharn/Adventure_Game.

With that now comes the good news on the actual project..... Porting of the project to the Unreal Engine is underway. I am really glad to have reached this level of confidence that I can now continue with this project. So far I have ported over the HexGrid system that underpins most of the game. I have also Ported the resource spawning and gathering systems, ported over building placement and part of the basic UI.

I have a couple of screenshots showing the editor as I ported over and got features working. I plan to have more of these to show in the future as I make progress with the port and beyond. 

Thank you to everyone who reads these Devlog posts it really brightens my day to see even a few people are interested enough to look at these posts.
